Camp FAQs

Will camp be held indoors or outdoors?

Basketball camps will be held both indoors and outdoors, rotating between the two throughout the day. Our All-Sports camps will be predominately outdoors with some indoor use throughout the day. Please be sure to apply and pack sunscreen with your camper.

What is your refund policy?

Refund Policy (WITH Insurance):
If insurance is purchased, you can cancel for a refund up to 14 days prior to the event. Within 14 days of the event, you will only have the option of a Legarza credit. If your event is cancelled or modified by Legarza, you will have the option to receive a full Legarza credit for your entire payment (cost of program + cost of insurance) or a refund for just the amount of the program.

Refund Policy (without Insurance):

Any participant who is unable to attend any program will receive full credit towards any other Legarza program up to 14 days before the start date. Within 14 days we cannot issue camp credit. In the event a program is cancelled or rescheduled by Legarza, a credit will be issued. No cash refunds can be given, at any time, unless insurance is purchased.

Can I sign up for a partial week?

With our commitment to keeping stable groups, we have limited spots on each team so we ask that you sign up for the full session even if you are unable to attend all of the dates. Partial session pricing is available but at a higher rate as we cannot fill the empty spot mid session. We are happy to take requests for partial week/pro rated enrollments 14 days before the start of the session as we reserve the spots for those purchasing the full session until this time.

Can my child to be in a group with their friends?

We are happy to work to accommodate friend requests. Please submit these requests to contact@legarzasports.org and our team will make sure the coaches receive them.

What is the age range for your camps?

We offer camp for children entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2021 up to those entering 8th grade.

How are the age groups divided?

We maintain age appropriate groups at each of our camp. Campers are grouped based on grade, friend requests, and experience level. We maintain developmentally appropriate curriculum so that our campers are able to learn at an appropriate level with their peers.

What should my child wear and/or bring to camp?

Athletic footwear (no sport specific footwear necessary), shorts and a t-shirt is the most common attire. With an increase in outdoor time it is especially important to pack water and apply/pack sunscreen for your camper.
