AM: 8U Academy Sharks

Our 8U Basketball Academy Teams are designed to introduce young players to the game the right way. Open to beginners and developing players, this program focuses on building a strong foundation in basketball fundamentals through fun, fast-paced, skill-based training & games.

Players will learn a new skill each week during practice, held right before games at the game location. With top-notch coaching, mostly home-gym games, limited local travel, and developmental rules using age-appropriate equipment, this is the perfect introduction and progression into organized basketball.

Available locations:

SF Bison/Spartans Home Gym:
St. Stephen's – San Francisco

PEN Bears/Sharks Home Gym:
College of San Mateo – San Mateo

PEN Bison/Giants Home Gym:
Redwood High School – San Carlos

SBAY Warriors Home Gym:
Cupertino Middle School – Sunnyvale

Game Dates: 3/15, 3/22, 3/29, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26

Practices will take place prior to games at the game location. Most games will take place at the home gym, with travel only to neighboring locations.

Scholarships are available as needed — we want everyone to be able to participate.
